Hessisch Oldendorf 2009
This years Hessisch Oldendorf event promised to be bigger than ever, with the event coinciding with 60th anniversary of the Hebmüller the challenge was to get as many Hebs together in one place as possible and break the record set at Bad Camberg in '99.
To beat the record, Hebs were pulled from wherever they could be found and in any condition they happened to be in (roadworthy or not!). A couple of restoration projects were on display, along with a few other cars that very rarely see the light of day.
It was great to see the Van Deun Heb on display and also the Brown Heb from the Karmann museum. Andreas picked up an award for his #100 which was decided to be the best Heb present at the event.
The record was set and will be very hard to beat - 29 real Hebs together in one place, it's unlikely that this will ever be bettered...
